3D Qualities

A common lightbulb emits ambient light. Laser light is coherent light and has three dimensional qualities. These qualities allow it to beam through steam, smoke and mist. The light from a regular light bulb weakens across an area, but Firefly's laser dots reach deeper into the same space without losing brightness. Even using the lowest powered laser Firefly can still beam a hundred feet, across a field or auditorium.

You can see the difference

Unlike everyday incandescent light, which pools around the bulb and weakens across space, laser light can beam a hundred feet. Each little Firefly dot is its own source of light. When compared to a common 4 watt LED nightlight, the Firefly produces better light, better coverage at less than half the power usage.

Not to mention, the quality of the light is more atmospheric.
